Melatonin is a crucial component of the body's natural sleep cycle, which is referred to as the circadian rhythm. Melatonin is also emitted by the pineal gland, a tiny gland located at the base of the brain that produces it by converting serotonin. Furthermore, serotonin is produced by converting the amino acid tryptophan, which is frequently lacking in the diet. Cortisol, the principal stress hormone, suppresses the generation and absorption of melatonin, resulting in restless sleep and insomnia. HOW TO USE

Adults, take one tablet at bedtime. If traveling across time zones, take one tablet daily for 3 to 5 days before trip at the corresponding bedtime of your destination. Do not exceed the daily dosage.
